Alastair Hilton BSc (Hons) Dip Surv MRICS

Alastair is Head of Investment, providing specialist strategic advice on disposal, acquisition and restructuring of investment and development interests, across Central London, but with a particular focus on the City and Midtown markets. His clients include key UK Institutions, Corporates, UK Property Companies, UK Developers and Private UK Investors. He has also acted on behalf of overseas investors from Ireland, mainland Europe, the Middle and Far East.

Alastair joined Farebrother in 2010, from Cushman & Wakefield where he advised on over £250m of Midtown transactions including the acquisition of Lonsdale Chambers, Chancery Lane, WC2, for Middle Eastern clients and the acquisition of 8-10 New Fetter Lane, EC4 on behalf of Private Danish clients. Both will be substantial redevelopment schemes. Other transactions include the sale of 12 Smithfield Street, EC1, Lacon House, 84 Theobald's Road, WC1, for a UK REIT and the acquisition of Tudor Court, 6-8 Bouverie Street, EC4, for a UK Institution. He has also undertaken a number of significant transactions in the City and in London’s West End.

He is a fully qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and previously studied Estate Management at the Royal College of Estate Management. Prior to this, Alastair graduated from Southampton University with a BSc (Hons) in Geography.

His interests include water skiing, fly fishing, tennis, mountain biking, music and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
