Dan RidgersDan Ridgers is Farebrother’s Head of Retail and a Chartered Surveyor, specialising in acquisition, investment, development and leasing advice for developers, investors and branded occupiers. Dan joined Farebrother via Hammond Phillips from lead roles in capital markets investment and national shopping centre Leasing & Development teams at DTZ in London. He was responsible for setting up the High Street Investment team there, acquiring the £36m City Lands Portfolio for Rugby Estates as well as a portfolio of five HSBC banks across the UK for Morley Fund Management. He also coordinated the disposal of the retail element of Dawnay Day’s £600m portfolio of 211 properties in 2008/09. His shopping centre instructions included leasing work at Thecentre: mk, Milton Keynes for Prudential & Hermes, The Whitgift Shopping Centre, Croydon for Howard Holdings PLC and Eden Walk, Kingston upon Thames for LaSalle Investment Management. In his spare time, Dan enjoys travelling and has recently visited South Africa, Borneo, Sulawesi, Ambon, Australia and New Zealand.
